  We can provide you with professional and quality service and maintenance on:

Chillers                                                        Chiller cleaning and tube brushing or Hydro-washing should be performed once a year. Fouling can cause a loss of heat transfer which translates to higher energy cost. Scale fouling leads to tube pitting that can lead to tube replacment. An Eddy Current test should be performed each year to discover tube integrity.
 

We provide brush cleaning and chemical cleaning of the chiller tubes. All chemicals used by Rican are biodegradable and non- toxic and acceptable in most City or County waste systems.

   

Heating Coils                                               
Cleaning the Heat Exchangers and Closed Loop systems they serve is over looked more than other equipment in most facilities and also the closed loop systems they serve. Just like the boilers Heat Exchanger systems with egg shell's thickness of scale on the internals equals a 10% loss in its effective heat transfer...and will be reflected in at least a 10% increase in your fuel bills.

Air Handlers                                              
Coil cleaning leads to energy savings and comfortable customers. Building managers often ignore or reduce resources devoted to air-handler maintenance when faced with budget constraints. Through our process, monitoring and analysis, we believe we found a methodology and regimen that proves maintaining air-handler components in a clean condition can save energy dollars and improve other building parameter changes and efficiencies such as improved dehumidification and comfort, along with less mold and bacteria.

 

Coil heat transfer efficiency can be reduced typically 5  to 10 percent for mildly dirty coils and more than 20 percent for severely dirty ones. Operating costs increase, and the life expectancy of the equipment is reduced. This is compounded in hot and humid climates  where coil surfaces become home to fungi, slime and micro-organisms, or coated in oily films. Dirty coils are prime breeding grounds for colonies of biological growth and will cause a biofilm slime coating on the coil surfaces. If the bio-colonies get large enough, they can be released into the air stream and eventually to occupant exposure.

 We can provide you with Air handler preventive maintenance of filter media, pan cleaning and Coil cleaning. We can also provide repairs to pans and other air handler components.
